| Black Gold | By RaZ: Sets don't seem to matter, but I prefer 1800 on this. Puts 2nd gear in a more usable and advantageous rpm range for me. Got two 50's with it (coincidence likely, lol), and 51's were hit with every gear set from 1200-2000. On this laptop (Athlon 64 XP3200, Radeon 9600), software mode helps quite a bit thru that bumpy section going to cp5. I predict it will get into the 48's on a P4 (any speed), or slow P3 and/or AMD. |
